National Pie Day is celebrated annually on January 23rd in the United States. It’s a day dedicated to enjoying and appreciating the deliciousness of pie, whether sweet or savory. It was established by the American Pie Council in 1986, though pie has been a beloved dessert for much longer. Many people use this day to bake pies, share them with friends and family, or even participate in pie-related events. If you’re a fan of pie, it’s a perfect occasion to indulge in your favorite kind!
High Point University carries out their annual pie poll and for the fourth consecutive year, Pumpkin pie was the winner in 2024!
