-1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.
-This year an estimated 2,800 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
-30% of all new cancer diagnoses in women will be breast cancer
-This year, an estimated 42,250 women will die from breast cancer in the U.S.
-Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women in the U.S.
The most important thing is early detection! 66% of breast cancer cases are diagnosed at an early localized stage when it is easier to treat!
The good news is that there are over 4 million breast cancer survivors in the United States and we want to make sure you stay aware.
