National Parents’ Day was established in 1994. Parents play a vital role in the lives of children. They protect, teach, provide and serve as role models. We look to them for guidance and mirror their behavior. Then through life they lead us to be independent thinking individuals. Which at times may be quite challenging. Often being a parent comes with sleepless nights and lots of worry. So on this day, spend some time with your parents or visit someone who was like a parent to you. Parents let those young children know you are glad to be their parent. Celebrate and enjoy!
